Boredom, boredom, why must you be so prevalent?
You're lurking around every corner waiting for me, waiting for me to do, well, nothing.
You seem to be my closest friend yet here I am attempting to dislodge you from egotistical and erratic self.
You're everywhere and yet, no where.
You're like that song that I have stuck in my head yet I fail to remember the lyrics.
Boredom, boredom, are you even there?
Are you there to comfort me when I am alone?
Are you there to listen to me when I need an ear?
Are you there to encourage me to actually do something?
Boredom, boredom just leave me alone.
Get away from me on this dreary of days.
Get away from me I don't want you to stay.
Get away from me, my life is so incomplete.
Boredom, boredom tell me what I must do!
Am I to go and tell the world of my longings?
Am I to run towards hope until my legs give out?
Am I to love the ones I hate as I love my mother?
Boredom, boredom give me the answers!
Give me the answer to my purpose in life!
Give me the truth to who I really I am!
Give me a reason why I wake up every morning!
Boredom, boredom don't go away!
Who will I turn to when I need advice?
Who will comfort me when I need a hug?
Who will catch my tear before it hits the ground?
Ah, my old friend, don't go away.
Come, sit down, and stay...

The Male Brain
Just sit down and relax. There's no need to get all hyped up about this. Just breathe. I know, it's a shocker but yes, the male brain is just as complicated if not more complicated than that of the female species.
Let's weigh the differences between the two brains.
FEMALE BRAINS are like spaghetti. They can navigate in and out of conversations that have absolutely no relevance to each other and still follow the conversations.
MALE BRAINS are a little different. Picture the male brain as a waffle. We start in one square with one topic. When we are finished with that topic we move on to the next and we NEVER GO BACK! We are too simple minded for such non sense! The blank stares on guys faces is just the brain trying to figure out which square you girls jumped to! Don't worry, be patient, we'll catch up eventually!
Another thing, what's with girls and their implications? I had a friend come to me with a very confusing situation. He told me how his girlfriend of a few months asked him if he thought they should take a break. Like a good boy friend he said, "What ever you think is best for us right now." She immediately got frustrated and broke up with him! He asked me what he did wrong and I had to tell him that I honestly didn't know! We had another friend, who happens to be female, talk to my friends now ex-girlfriend and come to find out, what she really wanted was for him to tell her how beautiful she was and how perfect they were together! What the hell! This unfortunately was not the first case of implying a certain meaning just to be misunderstood by us guys! If you want us to say something than tell us to say it! Implications NEVER work! Once again, we are too simple minded for such complications! We don't try to mask what we want to hear we just say it! Life's too short to go through "implying" what you really mean.
I'm not going to get started on the whole "grudges" thing.
That is my rant on the differences between the sexes.

Paying for a Future
Money. It's everywhere and whether we like it or not it does control our lives. We revolve around the economy and the stock market. If gas is cheap we buy some and stock up. If there's a sale on school supplies in December we stock up for the following year. We're expected to pay for almost everything these days from water to even oxygen. Education is at the top of the to-do list for many politicians but most simply skip it and start raking the yard. They expect us to get an education and one day to pass the world off to us but how can such an honor come to pass if the very education that they expect us to get is out of the price range. No sacrifice no victory but what victory is there in years and years of debt just for an average paying job that gets you know where in life! How can one honestly expect a middle class kid to go to college, get a degree and enter the world $100,000 in debt and expect to survive?! Sure, scholarships are great and they help but out of the dozens and dozens of essays that you wrote, how many were actually beneficial? Did you ever get any financial help? Ive spent more time writing the essays than sleeping just to find out the scholarship was awarded to kid from the upper class who's daddy was going to pay what ever he couldn't raise from scholarship.
That's another issue. How the hell did some of these people get into the institutions that they did? You have to know that money was the persuading factor in their acceptance. They arrive to college with the very best of everything and then they flaunt and shoot glares at your out-dates lap top which is being held together by duct tape and super glue. To top it off their as dumb as a toad and soak up all the tutoring help for simple, first grade issues.
Now I know I'm stereotyping a little bit but all of these come from real life encounters. Society expects us middle class low life's to go thousands of dollars in debt just so we can barley hang on in the social ladder once we our launched from our cocoons. What's that? We need it to survive? Well, since you put it that way...

World of Worlds
Diversity is a prominent ideology in our everyday lives. Our uniqueness' are what makes us human; are what makes us different; are what makes us one. A diverse unity is the driving force in a subtly valid world. The man working the hot dog stand on the corner shares the same ideological standards as the CEO of the sky scraper he's working in front of. We are all different, we are all one.
America has long been known as the melting pot of the world. Well, then, how come racism and prejudices seem to be as familiar to us as laughter or death? Must we succumb to the insecurities of a feeble and perverted mind set? People from all corners of the globe reside in this very land that we call home and instead of welcoming them with open arms they are met with crude remarks and the back hand of the law coming down on them. Our ideologies have changed.
We are a world of worlds. People of ever religion, race and ethnic background reside amongst those who are satisfied living in their superficial world of peace and dominion. We can not continue like this! The voices of the minority must be heard! If a single person begins a movement of change than the fire gets passed on to another, than another, than another. It starts with one. In a world of worlds, it only takes one. And that one is going to change the world.
